Spring is simply flying by! Its been one month since we released the Issue 9 of Urban Ag News. This was by far our best and most read issue. For those that have never read one of our issues, let me provide you an understanding of our mission:
Our MISSION is to become the leading connector for a growing industry, bringing together growers with growers, growers with manufacturers, growers with suppliers and growers with consumers.
Urban Ag News is an educator providing content through a variety of different media. Through its educational efforts, Urban Ag News seeks to provide its users with a basic understanding of the science behind our industry while keeping its audience informed on the latest technologies and innovations.
Make sure you take time to read Issue 9 if you have not already done so. This issue includes a story on a vertical farm in Seattle, information on greenhouse grown strawberries and preventing tip burn on lettuce.
The International Congress on Controlled Environment Agriculture (ICCEA 2015) is also almost here! In less than 30 days the leading researchers from around the world of controlled environment ag will come together in Panama City, Panama. If you can, you should do what you can to attend. It will be one of the few times that you can see and mingle with all of these researchers at one event.
