Well said. When selling computerized control systems we always worked with the customer to simplify production systems first. Back in the ’70s and ’80’s we started using control computers to automate crude, simple greenhouse systems and produced surprisingly good control results. In fact, the results were often better than more complex systems and certainly more reliable and serviceable. Oh yes, and less expensive too!

Thanks Chris, Daniel from http://www.aquaponics.ai. Besides having a data tech solution for aquaponics, we are growers ourselves, so love the idea that greenhouse design, etc. needs to be simple. I think same concepts move towards farm management and data collection. The majority of growers are not going to get high tech multiple million investment (which often wonder how sustainable this is), so for sustainability and global impact having simple solutions for greenhouse design and grow strategies is key. Thanks!
