The University of Arizona Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) will be hosting the 14th annual Greenhouse Crop Production & Engineering Design Short Course from March 22 – 27, 2015 at the Westward Look Resort in Tucson, AZ. The short course will consist of three full days of lectures on the many aspects of controlled environment agriculture (CEA) and one full day of hands-on workshops on the campus of the CEAC. The course will feature 23 different lectures by over a dozen experts with over 250+ combined years of experience in hydroponic growing and CEA and 9 different hands-on workshops to choose from. There will also be an exhibitor room where course attendees can meet with industry professionals and discuss their current operation or any projects they may be interested in working on in the future. The short course is also a one-of-a-kind networking event and information exchange that brings together the unique perspectives of beginning growers, advanced growers, engineers, scientists, researchers, industry professionals, small growers, commercial growers, and more. Additionally, if you cannot make it to Tucson for the short course and are interested in viewing the lecturers, please consider our Webcast attendance option. Webcast attendees can either view the lectures live, which gives them the ability to chime in with questions, or they can view the lectures later at their own convenience in a password protected internet database. Please check out the CEAC website at https://ag.arizona.edu/ceac/Spring-Short-Course for more information on the course such as the full course schedule and registration form.
